One thing I look forward to every week is a new Pop Culture Happy hour podcast episode. The panel always has something interesting and funny to say about about pop culture. At the end of every episode they do a segment that is called ‘what’s making me happy this week‘. And I love that, and I want to do the same here!

- I read a great article over at HelloGiggles titled 9 Jane Austen quotes that perfectly sum up how we feel about life and it’s well worth a look!
- I just read through most of Abby Lawson from JustaGirlandHerBlog e-book Building a Framework* and it’s really made an impression. She explains the process of setting up and growing a blog organically. It is all about building a foundation and framework that sets you up for success. Abby has a way of explaining things that might seem complicated in very simple terms, and it has helped me a lot.
- Since it gave the name to this post I want to talk about Pop Culture Happy Hour! They talk about everything pop culture and discuss everything from Hamilton to Captain America. I’m going to link to a bit of an older episode, but it’s very fun to listen now as it’s the yearly summer movie preview episode, and some of the movies have started to come out. The panel make predictions and talk through all the movies coming out this summer.
- I found this gorgeous pillow cover in the AugustPlaceUK shop on Etsy, and I’m in love! I want this on my couch.

I will be back sometime soon with more things that are making me happy, but in the meantime I want to know about you! What is making you happy this week?
Love this post! What a good idea, listing out the things that are making you happy today. For me, I just set up three friend dates for the end of this week and Monday next week. And next Monday’s date is my best friend whose son is my son’s best friend, so that will be extra special. Anticipation of special days is always on my Happy list! 🙂
Thank you! 🙂 That sounds really nice, friend dates are the best and looking forward to them is such a happy thing. I hope they are all lovely 🙂
I loved Abby Lawson’s Building a Framework, it’s a great ebook! Thank you for sharing your Friday finds, this is great!
It really is! 🙂 Thank you for the comment!
